Kana Huang
Hi! I am Kana! I am a second year PhD student in the Department of Informatics at UC Irvine, advised by Prof. Anne Marie Piper .
I am interested in designing technology for older adults and underserved populations to improve their health and overall wellbeing. For my research,
I closely work with healthcare providers, caregivers, and patients to design technology that enhances patient care, improves healthcare delivery processes, and supports the wellbeing of all stakeholders involved.
My research lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Personal
Health Informatics, and Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW).
